Well faithful reader(s), I apologize for being gone all weekend. Sunday and Monday weren't worth mentioning because I was sick with some kind of stomach virus or something.
What is worth mentioning is that the same tank of gas I filled up on Thursday with was still sitting in the tank this morning when I filled up! Prices are slightly higher, $3.84 a gallon, than when this blog began, but I'm still really happy that I went a whole five days without filling up.
This fill-up may be another story. We drove all over today, doctors appointments, work, to Chicago, where gas prices near our new home were $4.24 a gallon (sorry no pics).
Well thanks for being patient, and as far as these post titles go, I make no apologies for the puns.
